  • Join a hiking club to experience the beauty of Hawaii with like-minded individuals
  • Start a garden in your yard or lanai. Don’t have space for a garden at home, get a plot through your local Community Garden on Oahu, Kauai, or wherever you live.

  • PaCES Summer Environmental Science Program at Windward Community College has a program for high school students interested in environmental and marine science
  • Check out the Imi Pono no ka ‘Aina two-week environmental education summer program: Students grades 6-12 travel to natural areas across Hawai‘i Island to learn about plant propagation, invasive species control, reforestation and Hawaiian culture
