“Hope is my substance. Belief that there’s a better way. It fueled my life all the way to the Olympics and it still does to this day.

Bryan Clay is an Olympic and World Champion Decathlete.

From Kāne‘ohe, O‘ahu to the World Stage, Bryan Clay reached the top of the Olympic Podium against all odds. Diverted off the troubled path of his childhood, he went on to become one of the most decorated Decathletes of all time. Today, Bryan is sharing his story of redemption all over the world as a motivator, advisor, husband, father and ambassador of active, healthy living.

“I was faced with a very clear choice at a young age. Either continue to get caught up in drugs, alcohol, and all kinds of other trouble or literally run in the opposite direction. Choosing the right path gave me something to hope for. Even when the odds are stacked against you, believe me when I say there is always a way out of trouble…but you have to look for it, and it will not be the easy road. I always encourage everyone to just stop and think…the choices you make in those moments are the ones that will define you.
